titleOfInvention Prosthesis, in particular prosthetic foot
abstract The invention relates to a prosthetic device (30), in particular a prosthetic foot for the care of leg amputees. Said device comprises a cardan joint unit (32), which is coupled to a shaft (34) comprising a tread device (40, 42). The cardan joint unit (32) has an articulated element (44), which is rotatably mounted about a first rotational axis (C) and a second rotational axis (D) that deviates from the first. The aim of the invention is to simulate more accurately the natural gait of a healthy human foot. To achieve this, the cardan joint unit (32) comprises an articulated fork (36) on the shaft side that can be coupled to the shaft (34) and an articulated fork (38) on the tread device side that is coupled to the articulated fork (36) on the shaft side by means of the articulated element (44). The articulated fork (36) on the shaft side can be pivoted about the first rotational axis (C) and the articulated fork (38) on the tread device side about the second rotational axis (D) in relation to the articulated element (44). The pivoting displacement of the articulated forks (36, 38) on both sides in relation to the articulated element (44) is carried out in opposition to the resistance of at least one cushioning element that is located in the vicinity of said articulated element.
