| abstract |
The invention relates to a method and system for digitally processing an eye iris image or the like, comprising at least a first filtering step (521) corresponding to a morphological closure by a first structuring element corresponding to a disk of which the radius in number of pixels corresponds approximately to the thickness of an eyelash in the image, and a second filtering step (522) corresponding to a morphological opening of the image resulting from the preceding step by a second structuring element corresponding to a disk whose radius in number of pixels is between two and five times that of the disk of the first step. |
