abstract The invention provides a ventilation insert for ventilation of textiles or shoes. The mission is composed of at least the following layers: a layer A which is formed by an open-pore, water-permeable and water-vapor-permeable surface (6a), a layer B at least partially formed of a swellable material, such as an absorber (14), - A layer C, which is formed by a water vapor and air-permeable surface (6b). As a result, the insert can automatically close against water and reopen automatically in case of drought and thus prevent penetration of moisture.
