abstract A calcium oxide dispersion liquid contains calcium oxide fine particles having a median particle diameter (volume basis) of 1 to 200 nm and a maximum particle diameter of 10 to 1,000 nm, and an organic dispersion medium. The calcium oxide dispersion liquid is produced by filling calcium oxide fine particles, an organic dispersion medium, and beads 5 to 200 μm in diameter into a container, and stirring these materials. Therefore, the calcium oxide having a small particle diameter and a high purity is homogeneously dispersed in the calcium oxide dispersion liquid.
