The invention relates primarily to a device for whitening teeth, characterized in that it comprises a light source (24) to which is attached a part (14) which holds the light source (24) in a position allowing the illuminating the teeth by applying a clamping force of the user's jaws to said holding piece (14) during the treatment period.n n n The invention further relates to a method for bleaching teeth comprising at least the following steps: a) applying a gel containing a light-reactive active agent to the teeth to be bleached (29,30), and b) illumination of said teeth (29,30) with the device of the invention. |
