abstract | The invention relates to a method for the production of organosilicon compounds (2) comprising carbonyl radicals by oxidation of organosilicion compounds (1) comprising carbinol radicals with the aid of a mediator (3) selected from a group of aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, heterocyclic and aromatic NO-, NOH- and (I)-containing compounds and an oxidizing agent (4) under the proviso that the reaction is carried out with constant control of the pH value at a pH = 3 and the carbonyl radicals in the organosilicon compounds (1) thus used are oxidized to form predominantly carboxy radicals. |
