titleOfInvention Medical emulsion of perfluororganic compounds and method for the production thereof
abstract The invention relates to medicines, in particular medicaments for the treatment of blood losses, hypoxia and ischaemia states, and for the improvement of blood oxygen transport and the preservation of isolated, perfusing organs and tissue. The perfluoro-organic compound medical emulsion according to the invention comprises fast-exudate perfluoroorganic compounds such as perfluorodecalin and perfluorooctylbromide, a fluorocarbon additive in the form of a mixture of perfluorinated, tertiary amines and phospholipids in the form of a water-salt dispersion. The perfluorodecalin and the perfluorooctylbromide are included in the composition of the rapidly precipitable perfluoroorganic compounds in a ratio ranging from 10: 1 to 1:10. The mixture of perfluorinated tertiary amines has the form of a mixture of perfluorotripropylamine and its coproducts: the cis and trans isomers perfluoro-1-propyl-3,4-dimethylpirrolidone and perfluoro-1-propyl-4-methylpiperidine. The process according to the invention for preparing the emulsion comprises the preparation of the water-salt dispersion of the phospholipids, the homogenization of the perfluoroorganic compounds in the dispersion at high pressure and the proper sterilization of the final emulsion. The shelf life of the emulsion according to the invention in the non-frozen state of the emulsion at a temperature of + 4 ° C is at least six months; during this time the biocompatibility of this emulsion in a biological medium (blood, plasma or serum) is maintained.
