abstract | The invention relates to dishwasher rinse aid containing between 0.5 and 12 wt. % of a surfactant system comprising c) at least one non-ionic surfactant F of general formula: R<1>-CH(OH)CH2O-(AO)w (A'O)X (A"O)y-(A "' 0)z,-R <2>,< >wherein R<1> represents a linear or branched, saturated or monounsaturated or polyunsaturated C6-24 alkyl or alkenyl radical, R<2> represents a linear or branched hydrocarbon radical containing between 2 and 26 carbon atoms, A, A', A" and A" independently represent a radical from the group -CH2CH2, -CH2CH2-CH2, -CH2-CH(CH3), -CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2, -CH2-CH(CH3)-CH2-, -CH2-CH(CH2-CH3), w, x, y and z represent values between 0.5 and 25, and x, y and/or z can also be 0; and d) at least one non-ionic surfactant G of general formula: R<1>-O-(AO)w (A'O)x (A"O)Y (A"' 0)z,-R <2>,< >wherein R<1> represents a linear or branched, saturated or monounsaturated or polyunsaturated C6-24 alkyl or alkenyl radical, R<2> represents H or a linear or branch hydrocarbon radical containing between 2 and 26 carbon atoms, A, A', A" and A" independently represent a radical from the group -CH2CH2, -CH2CH2-CH2, -CH2-CH(CH3), -CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2, -CH2-CH(CH3)-CH2-, -CH2-CH(CH2-CH3), w, x, y and z represent values between 0.5 and 25, and y and/or z can also represent 0; said surfactant system containing the non-ionic surfactants F and G in a weight ratio of F:G of between 1:4 and 100:1. The inventive rinse aid is characterised by an improved rinsing performance compared to conventional rinse aid. |
