titleOfInvention | Cosmetic and dermatological sunscreens comprising chemical UV-screens and glyceryl triheptanoate |
abstract | The invention relates to cosmetic and dermatological sunscreen preparations, in particular skin care cosmetic and dermatological preparations, wherein only the following active ingredients are relevant, namely ethylhexyl triazone, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane and bis-octyloxyphenolmethoxyphenyl-triazines. In the prior art, preparations thereof are known in various embodiments, which are commercially available from the larger chemical companies. A disadvantage, however, is their low solubility in numerous oil components commonly used in cosmetics and their pronounced tendency to crystallize. There is therefore a need for such an oil component which meets the required requirements for these UV filters and, if possible, can be produced from renewable raw materials in order to meet the ecological requirements, which in the invention is surprisingly achieved by the triglyceride triheptanoin (US Pat. Glyceryltriheptanoat) succeed in an economical manner. |
