A ceramic honeycomb filter comprising a ceramic honeycomb structure (1) having porous partition walls (3) defining a plurality of flow paths (4) for flowing an exhaust gas (20a) through said porous partition walls to remove particulates from said exhaust gas, wherein one end of each flow path (4) is provided with a sealer (5), such that sealers of said flow paths in an inlet and an outlet of said ceramic honeycomb structure (1) are in a desired pattern, said sealers (5) have pores, at least part of said pores have substantially circular cross-sections, and at least part of said pores having cross-sectional areas of 1,000 µm 2 or more in an arbitrary cross-section of said partition walls (3) have circular cross-sections. |
