abstract Phosphono compounds containing carboxylic acid ester groups are reacted with alcohols or amines. The reaction can be catalyzed by chemical compounds or by enzymes. Depending on their structure, the phosphorus compounds obtained can be used for the preparation of polymers, for reaction with hydridosiloxanes, for bonding to cellulose or wool and for the production of products with flame-retardant properties.
