The invention relates to a distance measuring device, comprising a transmitter and a receiver, said transmitter being embodied for production of a magnetic field by means of a resonant circuit with a resonant frequency, the receiver being embodied for reception at the resonant frequency of the magnetic field transmitted by the transmitter and to convert the intensity of the magnetic field recorded into a first signal with an energy value. The transmitter is embodied to generate the magnetic field intermittently, each transmission having a given energy. The receiver is connected to a detector, embodied to determine, by correlation of said first signal with a second given signal having a waveform representative of a signal for detection by the receiver, a signal for a distance measure which represents the distance between the transmitter and the receiver. The device is of application to detectors for detection of sleep problems or other diseases. |
