The invention provides a replenisher used for developing a precursor of a negative working photosensitive planographic plate using a developer comprising an alkali metal hydroxide and a surfactant but no silicate compounds, and having a pH of 10.5 to 12.5, wherein the replenisher is an aqueous solution comprising a chelating agent having ability for forming a water-soluble chelating compound with an aluminum ion, an alkali metal hydroxide and a surfactant but no silicate compounds, and having a pH of 11 to 13.5. |
