Method of producing young moss seedlings, method of producing moss mat. |
abstract |
A method of producing young moss seedlings whereby a large amount young moss seedlings can be grown at a high speed in an artificially controlled environment to give plants suitable for greening. Growth of young moss seedlings is controlled in a culture solution at a temperature of form 0 to 60ºC at a photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) of 200 (µmolm-2s-1) or below within a fertilizer concentration range of from 0 to 1.0 (mS/cm) by repeating light-dark cycles at intervals of 24 hours or shorter under aeration and agitation to thereby give young moss seedlings in which regeneration blastemas (2) proliferate around a gamete (1). |
