titleOfInvention Electroluminescent element
abstract The electroluminescent component (1) comprises of a transparent first electrode (4), a luminescent layer (5), a second electrode (7) and a protective laminate (8). The protective laminate has a steam permeability set within the range of between 0.35 to 10 g/m 2>/24h at 38 degrees Celsius and by 100 percent relative to air humidity. A dielectric layer (6) is formed between the luminescent layer and second electrode. The luminescent layer is driven by AC voltage (9).
