The invention relates to semi-solid and liquid pharmaceutical administration forms for transdermal application, comprising a pharmaceutical active ingredient that is photosensitive in the UV spectrum and at least one UV absorbent adjuvant (UV absorber), the latter being dissolved or dispersed in the administration form. Preferably, the inventive administration form is a transdermal gel, whose gel base is composed of water, alcohol, at least one gel-forming polymer and optionally additional ingredients. Gels of this type are also referred to as hydroalcoholic gels. The invention provides an administration form comprising a photosensitive active ingredient, which permits the application system to be highly stable without the disadvantages that are present during the application of conventional semi-solid transdermal application forms. Thus the harmful accompanying effects, such as e.g. the absorption of light protection substances by the body, which can potentially result from intentional light protection measures, are kept to an absolute minimum. |
