abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing low halogen polyisobutenes. The inventive method is characterized in that isobutene is polymerized in the presence of a catalyst which contains a halogenated Lewis acid, the catalyst is removed and/or deactivated, and the polyisobutene so obtained is brought into contact with a zeolite having an average pore size of from 5 to 15 Å. |
