titleOfInvention Battery type lighter
abstract It comprises a thin flat case (2), a sheet-like battery (3) disposed in the case (2), a resistance wire heat generation section (4) connected to the battery (3), and a power switch (5) for opening/closing the passage of electricity to the heat generation section (4). The flat case (2) comprises a slide member (6) for opening/closing an ignition window (21) formed at a position that the heat generation section (4) faces, and an operating button (51) for operating the power switch (5). In the state in which the slide member (6) closes the ignition window (21), part of the slide member (6) lies between the contacts of the power switch (5) to make the operation of the operating button (51) ineffective, while in the state in which the ignition window (21) is opened, the power switch (5) can be closed by operating the operating button (51). A battery type lighter is provided that is thin and superior in portability, and utilizable as a propaganda medium.
