The inventive emulsion (E) comprises a hydrophobic phase (O) containing and/or consisting of an active hydrophobic material (A) embodied in the form of a multiple emulsion (Em) comprising: an internal invert emulsion (Ei) which comprises a continuous phase (O), an aqueous dispersed phase (Wi) and, at the interface of two phases, a stabilising agent (Di) in a hydrosoluble or hydrodispersible polysaccharide whose mean polymerisation degree is equal to or greater than 1.5, preferably equal to or greater than 20, whose Brookfield viscosity at 25 °C in a 1 % water solution is less than 20 000 mPa.s., which is devoid of lipophilic polyorganosiloxane substituting groups, and; an external aqueous or water mixable phase (We) in which the internal emulsion (Ei) is dispersed or in the solid form (Es) which is hydrodispersible in a multiple emulsion (Em). The emulsion (E) after being used in an aqueous medium (B) is capable of conveying the active hydrophobic material to a substrate arranged in or brought into contact with said aqueous medium (B). |
