Polymer blend for matte injection moulded parts |
abstract |
The invention relates to a polymer blend comprising: a) a polymer matrix, which consists of a (meth)acrylate (co)polymer or a blend of (meth)acrylate (co)polymers with a Vicat softening temperature VST (ISO 306-B50) of at least 104 °C and/or a (meth)acrylimide (co)polymer; b) an impact resistance modification agent, which is based on cross-linked poly(meth)acrylates and not covalently bonded to the polymer matrix a); c) between 1 and 15 wt. % plastic particles consisting of cross-linked polymers based on polymethylmethacrylates, polystyrenes and/or polysilicones. The polymer blend can be used to produce injection moulded parts with matte surfaces and Vicat softening temperatures VST (ISO 306-B50) of at least 90 °C. |
