abstract |
The invention relates to a method and a circuit for masking a digital word (DATAi) by applying a random bijection, consisting in applying at least a first operation of selecting (31) a non-disjoint subset of said word of which the position and the size depend on a first random quantity (K1), and to assign (32) to each bit of the subset, the state of the symmetrical position bit relative to the middle of the subset, so as to obtain a hidden digital quantity (MDATAi). |
