Process for the preparation of oil of marine origin with reduced content of polychlorinated dioxins, furans, biphenyls and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. n The oil obtainable by the process has combined concentrations of polychlorinated dioxins, furans and biphenyls in a range from 0.05 - 6 (ng TEQ/kg oil) and is used in foodstuffs or pharmaceutical formulations. |
