titleOfInvention | Polymer dispersions with enhanced Polyen-fungicide tolerance, method of producing them and their use in food coating |
abstract | Polymer dispersions with improved polyene fungicide tolerance, their preparation and use for food coatingn n n A) 100 Gewichtsteile eines durch Emulsionspolymerisation hergestellten Homo- oder Copolymerisats, B) 0,1 bis 15 Gewichtsteile, bezogen auf die Gesamtmenge der eingesetzten Monomeren, mindestens eines Schutzkolloids, C) 0,1 bis 10 Gewichtsteile, bezogen auf die Gesamtmenge der eingesetzten Monomeren, mindestens eines nichtionischen Emulgators, D) 1 0 bis 990 Gewichts-ppm, bezogen auf die Masse der gesamten Dispersion, mindestens eines Antioxidationsmittels und E) mindestens ein Polyen-Fngizid. Described is an aqueous polymer dispersion adjusted to a pH range of 4 to 6 containing A) 100 parts by weight of a homo- or copolymer prepared by emulsion polymerization, B) 0.1 to 15 parts by weight, based on the total amount of monomers used, of at least one protective colloid, C) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight, based on the total amount of monomers used, of at least one nonionic emulsifier, D) 1 0 to 990 ppm by weight, based on the mass of the total dispersion, of at least one antioxidant and E) at least one polyene fungicide. n n n A second variant of the aqueous polymer dispersions is adjusted to a pH range of 4.5 to 5.5 and has components A) to C) and E) but no antioxidant.n n n The protective colloid of the aqueous polymer dispersions has no or up to 0.45 parts by weight, based on the total amount of the monomers used, of cellulose ethers.n n n The polymer dispersions described are distinguished by an excellent polyene fungicide tolerance and can be used for coating foods. |
