titleOfInvention | Reactive modifier |
abstract | The reactive modifier of the invention consists of an acrylic polymer produced by copolymerizing (A) a monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, (B) methyl methacrylate, (C) butyl acrylate, and (D) an alkyl (meth)acrylate wherein the alkyl chain has 7 to 9 carbon atoms and having a number-average molecular weight of 5000 or above wherein the contents of the components (A), (B), (C) and (D) are 0.01 to 10 parts by weight, 5 to 95 parts by weight, 5 to 95 parts by weight, and 5 to 95 parts by weight respectively with the total content of the components (A), (B), (C) and (D) within the range of 50 to 100 parts by weight and the C/D weight ratio is 0.5 to 2.0. The raw materials used in the production of the modifier are inexpensive and easily handleable and the modifier is excellent in storage stability even when mixed with polymers. |
