abstract | The invention relates to a system (1) having hybridization chambers (5) for hybridizing nucleic acid samples, proteins or tissue sections immobilized on slides (27), each hybridization chamber (5) being defined as a substantially gap-shaped, substantially liquid-filled space between one of these Slides (27) and a lid (26) is defined, wherein the lid (26) is disposed opposite to the slide (27), that the hybridization chamber (5) is sealed from the ambient air, and wherein the system (1) an agitation device (32), with which liquids in the hybridization chambers (5) can be moved relative to the samples immobilized on the slides (27). The inventive system is characterized in that it comprises means for preventing air bubbles in the Hybridisierkammern (5), which is designed as a pressure device for establishing a chamber pressure in the Hybridisierkammern (5), said chamber pressure thereby independent of Agitationsdruckunterschieden above the normal atmospheric pressure prevailing in the ambient air, the system (1) comprises a spring member which communicates with the volume of liquid used for the hybridization and resiliently differentiates the agitation pressure applied by the agitation means (32) to the pressure space (34) counteracts. |
