The invention relates to mammalian isoforms of the phosphodiesterase PDE10A7 as well as the nucleic acids encoding these polypeptides. The invention also relates to methods of using these polypeptides in diagnostic assays and in methods of screening for potential modulators, including inhibitors, of the new PDE10A7. The polypeptides of the invention are involved in numerous physiological processes, in particular, for example in memory formation, psychiatric disorders and cognitive disorders. |
