abstract | A curable organopolysiloxane composition is provided, which includes (A) annorganopolysiloxane containing at least one silicon atom-bonded alkenyl group withinneach molecule, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, which contains, within eachnmolecule, at least one silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom at a molecular chain terminal,nand at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms at non-terminal positions within thenmolecular chain, and which satisfies the formula shown below:n 0 < α/β < 0.25 n(wherein, α represents the number of silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms atnnon-terminal positions within the molecular chain, and β represents the total number ofnsilicon atoms within the component (B)), in sufficient quantity to provide from 0.1 to 5nsilicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per silicon atom-bonded alkenyl group within thencomponent (A), and (C) a platinum-based catalyst.
