Disclosed is a process for producing a synthesis gasncontaining no hydrocarbon and reduced concentration ofncarbon dioxide among the produced synthesis gas. n The process according to the present inventionncomprises reforming the gas generated by partial combustionnof hydrocarbon using a catalyst in a furnace for generatingnthe synthesis gas mounted on a catalyst layer inside thenfurnace, and producing the synthesis gas comprising hydrogennand carbon monoxide as main components, and is characterizednin that the temperature at outlet of the catalyst layernranges from 1100 to 1300°C and the concentration of carbonndioxide in the produced synthesis gas is not more than 10%nby volume. |
