A surface material for balls, formed of ansheet-shaped material having a coating layer formednfrom an elastic polymer on one surface of a basenmaterial layer, (1) said coating layer being formed ofnthree layers C-1, C-2 and C-3 which are arranged in thenorder of C-1, C-2 and C-3 from a front surface side,n(2) the layer C-3 being present on the base materialnlayer side and formed from a porous elastic polymer,n(3) the layer C-1 being present on the front surfacenside and being formed from an elastic polymerncontaining a tackifier, and (4) the coating layer beingnformed from the elastic polymers having fine throughnholes reaching the base material layer from the frontnsurface side or having no such fine through holes, andna ball having a surface to which the above surfacenmaterial is bonded. n The present invention provides a surfacenmaterial for balls for ball games, which is excellentnin gripping characteristic at a moistened time and isnalso excellent in abrasion resistance and impactnabsorption capability. |
