titleOfInvention Dental set and sulcus retraction method
abstract The invention relates to a sulcus retraction method which is characterized by producing in a first step a dental impression (8) using a curable composition (3) which is removed after curing. A silicone material (5) is applied in the border area between the tooth (1) and the marginal gingiva (2) using an appropriate tool. The silicone material (5) is characterized in that it expands volume-wise when curing. The dental impression (8) previously produced is again placed on the teeth, whereby this impression (8) constitutes a unilateral limitation for the direction of expansion of the silicone material (5).
