abstract The invention relates to a device for ligaturing an anatomical structure comprising a ligature element having two branches which are connected by means of a hinge and means (71, 73) for linking the two branches and an applicator comprising a cylindrical body, provided with a housing for receiving a ligature element on the distal end of said cylindrical body, whereby the housing has a side wall (40) against which the outer surface of one of the branches of the ligature element is disposed, also comprising a slider (80) which is displaceably mounted along the side wall (40) and actuated by a manoevring element, means (76) for advancing or moving apart the two brances of the ligature element which are controlled by the slider (80) and means for implementing (83,85) the linking elements (72,73) of the two branches of the ligature element by a traction element (86).
