titleOfInvention | Driving belt and method of making the same |
abstract | A power transmission belt made of rubber-elastic material, in which a ZugtrÃĪgerlage (3) and to achieve a transverse stiffness of the belt several respectively applied to a rubber-like embedding or embedded in a rubbery matrix fabric layers (4) are introduced, each of which tissue-like intersecting threads wherein a first group of threads is formed by substantially perpendicular to the belt running direction oriented yarns of a material having high strength, high flexural strength and high temperature resistance, while a second group of yarns in the direction of belt aligned yarns of a material with the other hand lower strength and lower temperature resistance, is characterized in that the threads of the first group of threads form the weft threads and the threads of the second group of threads form the warp threads of the fabric layers (4). |
