abstract |
Polyester fiber structures having good color tonesn(low b* values) and being excellent in moldability can benmade from polyester fiber produced in the presence of ancatalyst which comprises (I) a mixture consisting of a Tincompound component composed of one or more membersnselected from among titanium alkoxides of the generalnformula (I) and products of reaction of these alkoxidesnwith carboxylic acids of the general formula (II) ornanhydrides thereof and a P compound component consistingnof a compound of the general formula (III) and/or (2) anproduct obtained by reacting a Ti compound componentncomposed of one or more members selected from amongntitanium alkoxides of the general formula (IV) andnproducts of reaction of these alkoxides with carboxylicnacids of the general formula (II) or anhydrides thereofnwith a P compound component consisting of a compound ofnthe general formula (V). |
