abstract |
The present invention makes it possible to determine the overall changes occurring in gene expression and to identify markers of toxicity in tissues or cells exposed to a known toxin. The genes can be used as toxicity markers in drug screening and in toxicity assays. The invention also relates to a gene database characterized by toxin-induced differential expression, which database is designed for use with microarrays and other solid phase probes. |
