abstract It is proposed a plastic housing for an electrical or electronic circuit for placement in an electrical or electronic device, which is designed such that the circuit is held refractory in the housing. The housing consists of at least two housing elements (1,2) which are detachably connected to each other and of which the first housing element (1) made of refractory plastic and the second housing element (2) consists of non-refractory plastic. The second housing element (2) made of non-refractory plastic may have at least one flap, which is connected by means of a film hinge with the remaining part of the housing element (2). The electrical or electronic device is preferably a water-conducting domestic appliance, in particular a washing machine, a tumble dryer or a washer-dryer.
