titleOfInvention | Image-receiving material and ink jet recording method |
abstract | The present invention provides an image-receiving material having a support and an ink-receiving layer formed on the support, wherein the ink-receiving layer contains at least one of the groups consisting of: particles having penetration holes; and particles having concaves, in an amount of at least 10 mass% based on the total solid content of the ink-receiving layer. The ink-receiving layer has thermoplasticity, and the ink-receiving layer contains a thermoplastic component which generates the thermoplasticity, in an amount of at least 50 mass% based on the total solid content of the ink-receiving layer. The invention also provides an ink jet recording method which includes subjecting the image-receiving material after recording to smoothing treatment. |
