titleOfInvention | Method for the selection of cells producing specifically binding molecules |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for selecting cells expressing specifically binding molecules. Said method can be applied to all cells that are able to express specifically binding molecules, e.g. bacterial cells, yeast cells, fungal cells, insect cells, algae cells, plant cells, and mammal cells, and particularly hybridoma cells and stem cells, such as non-human embryonic stem cells. Moreover, the inventive method allows the selection to be made in a simple manner, the cells being provided in the form of an organ and/or tissue. The selection can be made in vitro or in vivo. Nucleic acids, polysaccharides, proteins, or peptides, and especially antibodies and antibody fragments can be selected as molecules that are to be expressed. |
