abstract | There are provided an aluminum electrolyticncapacitor comprising an anode, a cathode comprisingnaluminum and an electrolytic solution containing an oniumnsalt of fluorine-containing anion, wherein the electrolyticnsolution has a water concentration of 1% by weight or less,nor wherein the cathode has a peak top of Al2p spectrum ofn74.0 to 75.8 eV as measured by a method in which thensurface of the cathode in the aluminum electrolyticncapacitor heated at 125°C for 50 hours is analyzed by X-raynphotoelectron spectroscopy (XPS); an electrolytic solutionnfor electrolytic capacitor comprising a quaternary cyclicnamidinium tetrafluoroaluminate and a solvent and containingnspecific impurity compounds in a total amount of 0.6% bynweight or less, and an electrolytic capacitor using thenelectrolytic solution; and a method for preparing annorganic onium tetrafluoroaluminate which is advantageouslynused in an aluminum electrolytic capacitor. |
