The invention relates to a process for the production of a binder, comprising the stepsn A) providing a aminoalkylation product, obtainable by reactingn i) a phenolic compound with ii) formaldehyde and iii) an amine composition comprising a first compound having a primary amine groupn(iii-p) and a second compound having a secondary amine group (iii-s), B) reacting the aminoalkylation product with a semiblocked diisocyanate, subsequently C) reacting the reaction product of step B) with formaldehyde and subsequently D) reacting the reaction product of step C) with an epoxy compound. n Furthermore, the invention relates to a paint binder, obtainable by such a process andnthe use of the inventive paint binder as a selfcrosslinking paint in a cathodic electrodepositionnbath. |
