abstract The invention relates to an occlusive device which is intended for medical or surgical use. The inventive device comprises a hollow cylindrical element which can be twisted axially in order to create a constricted region. The invention further comprises a body which can be deformed by means of transverse compression and which is applied against the inner wall of the aforementioned cylindrical element, said body comprising a through hole along the axis of the cylindrical element. The invention also relates to a vascular occlusion device and to a valve for a surgical or medical instrument comprising an occlusive device.
