titleOfInvention | Culture method of controlling the composition of copolymer polyester |
abstract | The object of the present invention is to develop antechnology to optionally control a composition of anbiodegradable copolyester with maintaining low cost and highnproductivity. n The present invention consists in a culture method innproducing a copolyester by a microorganism, which comprisesncontrolling a specific substrate feed rate of an oil or fat tonbe used as a carbon source at a constant value throughout thenwhole culture period, or a method, which comprises applying andifferent specific substrate feed rate of an oil or fat usednas a carbon source between a cell growth phase and a polyesternaccumulation phase in a culture and controlling the rate at anconstant value during the respective phases. Furthermore, thenpresent invention also consists in a culture method, whichncomprises controlling the composition of the producedncopolyester by selecting the species and/or the control valuenfor the specific substrate feed rate. |
