A polarizer of the present invention is composed of a filmncomprising a structure in which fine metallic particles arendispersed in a polymer matrix is characterized in that a polymernforming the polymer matrix is a translucent polymer having antransmittance of 88% or more when measured thereof with anthickness of 1 mm and the film is uniaxially stretched. Thenpolarizer is good in heat resistance and transmittivity. |
