titleOfInvention | Polymer composition |
abstract | The invention provides a polymer compositionncontaining an addition polymerization-based blockncopolymer (a), an acrylic resin (b), and a softener (c),nwherein the addition polymerization-based block copolymern(a) has a weight average molecular weight of 30000 ton200000 and is at least one selected from block copolymersncomprising at least one polymer block A and at least onenpolymer block B, and hydrogenated products of the blockncopolymers; the polymer block A essentially comprises annaromatic vinyl compound unit containing at least 1% bynmass of an alkylstyrene-derived structural unit (I) innwhich at least one alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atomsnis bound to a benzene ring; the block copolymer Bncomprises a conjugated diene compound unit; and thencomponents of the polymer composition are present innrespective proportions (by mass) so that the followingnrelationships (1) and (2) hold:n 0.05 ≤ Wb/Wa ≤ 2 n Wc/(Wa+Wb+Wc) ≤ 0.5 nwhere Wa, Wb, and Wc are the amounts (by mass) of thencomponents of the polymer composition: the additionnpolymerization-based block copolymer (a), the acrylicnresin (b) and the softener (c), respectively. n Not only does the polymer composition of the presentninvention offer various advantageous properties, includingnmoldability, flexibility, rubber elasticity, mechanicalnproperties, and transparency, but it also exhibitsnsuperior scratch resistance and superior abrasionnresistance, which make the polymer composition suitablenfor use in various applications. |
