titleOfInvention |
Fragrance composition comprising at least one ionic fluid, method for production and use thereof |
abstract |
The invention relates to a fragrance composition, comprising at least one ionic fluid as fixative and production and use thereof. Said fragrance compositions have the advantage that the volatilisation of the basic aromatic components can be adjustably delayed with the ionic fluid as a polar solvent which has almost no partial pressure. The large choice of ionic fluids permits a precise adjustment of the volatilisation rate of the aromatic components. As the polarity of the ionic fluid can be varied over wide ranges by means of the structure of the cations and/or anions, the ionic fluid used as fixative can be precisely matched to the physico-chemical and/or olfactory requirements of the aromatic components. |
