Disclosed is an image forming method comprising the stepsnof: providing a protective layer transfer sheet comprising anthermally transferable protective layer having a single ornmulti-layer structure separably provided on a substrate sheet; n providing a print output by a nonsilver photographic colornhard copy recording system; n putting the protective layer transfer sheet onto the printnand thermally transferring the protective layer onto an imagenin the print so as to cover at least the printed portion; and n separating the substrate sheet from the protective layerntransfer sheet, n the thermally transferable protective layer in thenprotective layer transfer sheet being composed mainly of anthermoplastic resin. |
