abstract |
The present invention provides a modified substratenincluding a hydrophilic polymer wherein the solublenhydrophilic polymer ratio is 15 weight percent or less andnthe number of adhered human blood platelets is 10/4.3×10 3 µm 2 nor less. In addition, the present invention provides anmethod for producing a modified substrate including a stepnof irradiating the substrate with radiation while thensubstrate is brought into contact with an aqueous solutionncontaining a hydrophilic polymer and an antioxidant. Thenpresent invention provides a modified substrate having highnhematologic compatibility wherein the hydrophilic polymer isnimmobilized on the surface of the substrate, and a methodnfor producing the same. |
