abstract | The present invention provides organophotoreceptors comprising annelectrically conductive substrate and a photoconductive element on the electricallynconductive substrate, the photoconductive element comprising:n (a) a charge transport material having the formulan n where R 1 and R 2 are, independently, H, an alkyl group, an alkaryl group, or annaryl group; n X is a linking group having the formula -(CH 2 ) m -, branched or linear, where mnis an integer between 1 and 20, inclusive, and one or more of the methylene groups isnoptionally replaced by O, S, C=O, O=S=O, a heterocyclic group, an aromatic group,nurethane, urea, an ester group, a NR 3 group, a CHR 4 group, or a CR 5 R 6 group wherenR 3 , R 4 , R 5 , and R 6 are, independently, H, hydroxyl group, thiol group, an alkyl group,nan alkaryl group, a heterocyclic group, or an aryl group; n V comprises a vinyl ether group; and n Z comprises an arylamine group, such as a carbazole group, a julolidine group,nor an (N,N-disubstituted)arylamine group; and (b) a charge generating compound. n Corresponding electrophotographic apparatuses and imaging methodsn(processes) are described, as are corresponding charge transport materials. |
