titleOfInvention An osteointegrative interface for implantable prostheses and method for its manufacture
abstract The present invention relates to an osteointegrative interface for implantable prostheses and to a method for the treatment of the osteointegrative interface (1); the method can modify the surface of the osteoingrative interface, which is made of transition metals such as titanium, tantalum and their alloys, in order to produce so-called "biomimetic" surfaces which have innovative compositional and morphological characteristics, and is based on the use of an anodic spark deposition (ASD) anodizing technique performed firstly in a Ca-GP solution and subsequently in a Ca (OH)2 solution.
