titleOfInvention | Method and device for dosing fluids |
abstract | The invention relates to a method and to a device for carrying out the method for dosing fluids, which are placed under excess pressure, by means of a bistable electromagnetically switching dosing valve having an integrated sensor for determining the rheological fluid properties. By diminishing and amplifying oppositely poled permanent magnet fields, which define two stable positions inside the dosing chamber, discrete switching states for a magnetizable switching body, which can axially move inside a dosing chamber, are produced by an electronically controlled coil though which current flows, and when the switching body moves into a stable position, the change in the magnetic field is detected by a sensor. The evaluation of the change in the magnetic field caused by the switching body enables, while observing the switching times, conclusions to be made concerning the actual viscosity of the fluid and thus the ability to precisely dose quantities of fluid. |
