A cathode foil and an anode foil, with an oxidizednfilm layer formed on the surface and a separator interposedntherebetween, are wound together to form a capacitor element,nand prior to subjecting the capacitor element to chemicalnrepair the content of the binder in the separator is adjustednto 10 to 20% with respect to the total weight of thenseparator. After the chemical repair, the capacitor elementnis immersed in mixed liquid prepared by mixing anpolymerizable monomer and an oxidizing agent together with anpredetermined solvent, a polymerization reaction of thenelectroconductive polymer is induced in the capacitornelement, and a solid electrolyte layer is formed. Thencapacitor element is then inserted in an outer case; sealingnrubber is mounted in the open-end portion and sealed with antightening operation; and the unit is thereafter aged to formna solid electrolytic capacitor. |
